New Release:
“Unjust” by IkeZero ft. Katarra
A protest anthem for Palestine from St. Louis artists
The first single from the Voices of Dissent solidarity music project
“It felt like I teleported into the lives of those still going through these tragedies. I wanted the listener to feel as close as possible to what’s really going on.”
— IkeZero
We’re honored to release “Unjust”, a powerful new solidarity song for Palestine by St. Louis artist IkeZero, featuring the haunting vocals of Katarra. This is the first track in Voices of Dissent — a 20-song album of original protest music rooted in the grief, rage, and resistance flowing from Ferguson to Gaza.
Unjust is raw and deliberate.
Created in response to the genocide in Gaza, the song weaves together the pain of displacement, the silence of state violence, and the collective demand for justice.
It’s both a cry of grief and a call to rise.
“The revolution is just us,” IkeZero says. “It starts with a change of mindset… with being vulnerable for the solutions we need.”
Produced by a collective of over two dozen St. Louis artists, musicians, and organizers, Voices of Dissent is a community-rooted music project using art as a tool of truth-telling, cultural memory, and political resistance.
